Purpose of job:
The Junior Marketing Officer will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing and communication activities to enhance the visibility, brand image, and business development efforts of MNS. The role involves digital marketing, content creation, event coordination, proposal support, client communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies.
Create and manage content for the company’s website, social media platforms, newsletters, and marketing materials.
Draft and edit LinkedIn posts, press releases, email campaigns, brochures, presentations, and corporate communications.
Ensure consistency of branding across all communication channels.
Digital Marketing
Manage and update the company’s LinkedIn accounts.
Monitor digital marketing performance and prepare periodic reports via LinkedIn.
Coordinate online campaigns to promote company products, services, events, and achievements.
Assist in maintaining and updating website content.
Event Management
Coordinate the planning and execution of corporate events, product launches, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and career fairs.
Liaise with suppliers, venues, media partners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
Prepare event promotional materials and post-event reports.
Business Development Support
Assist in the preparation of business proposals, company profiles, and tender submissions.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and industry trends.
Support the Business Development and Marketing team with marketing collateral and presentations.
Public Relations & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, industry associations, media representatives, and other stakeholders.
Assist in coordinating corporate sponsorships, partnerships, and CSR initiatives.
Support media communications and publicity activities.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
Maintain marketing databases, mailing lists, and communication records.
Coordinate with designers, printers, suppliers, and external agencies.
Carry out any ad-hoc activities.
Assist with any other marketing and communication-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
1 year of experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role will be an advantage.
Experience in content creation, social media management, event coordination, and corporate communications will be an advantage.
Required Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
