Purpose of job:
To provide safe and reliable driving services and support general operational and logistical needs of the organisation. The role also ensures proper care and maintenance of company vehicles and adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
To drive the CEO and other staffs for work purposes as and when required.
Carry out dispatch tasks, including delivering packages, documents, perform banking transactions.
Regularly inspect and maintain the company vehicles to ensure they are clean and in good working conditions.
Maintain accurate records of company vehicles maintenance, fuel consumption, and travel logs.
Monitor and ensure that all company vehicle-related regulatory requirements (insurance, road tax, road fitness, etc.) are completed on time.
Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues to the HR and Administration Department.
Present a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting positively on the company.
Support the coordination of logistics for company events, including transportation arrangements and setup as required.
Stay informed about and adhere to all relevant transportation laws, regulations, and company policies.
To act as a back-up to the Facilities and Office Support as and when required.
Adhere to the ISO27001:2022 physical security guidelines at all times. Any non-compliance must be remedied within the shortest delay.
To attend any planned or unplanned issues or emergency regarding Driver or office support duties. This includes being available to attend work outside regular hours, including weekends and non-working days.
To set up, relocate and move any office property, within or outside the company.
Any ad hoc duties as requested by Management.
Qualifications:
At least a School Certificate (O-Level)
Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar role
Holder of a valid driving license
Knowledge/ Skills:
Basic knowledge of car repairs and maintenance is desirable
Defensive driving skills and awareness of road safety practices
Good communication skills and adherence to office etiquette
Physically fit and able to handle long driving hours when required
